How do you store big, chunky necklaces—(without putting them on the wall—I’m not really a fan of that)?

I use one of those things they put bracelets on for displays. Just hang then on it and display with other jewelry.

in individual ziploc bags and put into a shoebox or small drawer. keeps them from getting tangled and separated or broken and lost

On a belt ring or in a drawer. The trick is being delicate with them if they have any charms to not scratch or damage them.Works for me!

Mine are on the inside of an armoire, open the doors and they are hanging there, out of sight.

I have found some ideas to use a utensil holder and store them in there. You can find lots of this stuff at the container store. =]

Put them each in different colored socks and store in a box or drawer (great for socks who have lost their buddy or have a worn out toe)

I have one of those big drawer organizers from Target that I put my jewelry in, but my friend uses a hanging makeup holder for hers.

You can store in the trays made to put knives and forks in the drawer and stack them in a drawer.

I place roll them neatly with the clasp end on top. So when I need them I can grab the clasp and slowly pull them out without tangles. :)

I have a dowel rod laid across two boxes I use for other jewelry and hang the necklaces on there, suspended between the boxes.
